Below is a list of frequently asked questions. If VirginPulseGlobalChallenge isn't updated to take advantage of the Watch soon, I might just delete it off my iPhone because it isn't really useful in ANY way.Thank you for your interest in the Tufts University Celebrations Around the World Challenge! The program begins on Monday, August 14 and ends on Sunday, September 10, 2023. why a new app wouldn't support current device screen sizes is beyond me. Oh and VirginPulseGlobalChallenge 's UI looks like garbage because they couldn't be bothered to update it for my 6s Plus screen size. So all my health metrics will have to be entered MANUALLY for this challenge. ![]() Unfortunately about all VirginPulseGlobalChallenge is good for is showing you metrics that you've entered from the GCC user dashboard website! There's NO integration with either Apple's HealthKit or the Apple Watch I have! The Apple Watch is one the most advanced fitness trackers on the market yet they don't have support for it?! I'm going to be forced to use their primitive "Pulse" fitness tracker, which is basically just a pedometer. The company I work for is participating in the GCC challenge and so I downloaded VirginPulseGlobalChallenge for tracking. If they don't try to fix this before the end of the competition, they're going to be known as one of the biggest marketing fail in history. Trust me on this one as it had done both on me on two separate occasions. Don't sneeze if you're holding this in your hand, as it will either give you 50-80 steps from just sneezing or restarting your step count to zero, if you happen to be covering the restart button (that's in the front of the interface). ![]() It only shows the step count, which is fine because we got it for free but it needs to be a lot better than that, especially for someone who's actually trying to be more active. The device itself is cheaply made and will start counting 5 to 10 steps as soon as you touch it. That's just like playing god mode on a video game, meaning where's the fun in that? Having said that, this is the worst step counter I have ever seen and VirginPulseGlobalChallenge itself is overly ambitious with all the little details but very poor execution because you can pretty much put any number you want in your step count entry as long as it's on manual. First, I love the idea of getting this much people to come together to better themselves with friendly competition. ![]()
